I was originally going to post a Katy Perry track, but then I saw this was sitting on my desktop and I decided this needed to come first. Occasionally I come across something amazing that I feel the need to share with everyone. Blip.fm is one of those things. Do you use Twitter or Last.fm? Do you love discovering new music? If you answer yes to these things then you’re going to love Blip.
Their website does a very poor job of actually explaining what Blip is all about. I signed up blindly and had to figure it out on my own.

If there’s one thing Britney Spears is bad at, it’s making crap music. She has quite a penchant for making erotic, lusty tracks that many a gay lad, such as myself, and legions of others ooze in delight for. Is anyone in the room a Tori fan? I have to admit, I’m a fanatic. When my parents bought a brand new plymouth acclaim in ‘92, I was 12, awkward and blasting my eardrums full of ‘Little Earthquakes’.

Do you remember ‘Everything but the Girl’ ? ‘Step off that train, walking down your street again. Past your door. You don’t live there anymore.’ Of course, they became known for more, but it’s most memorable for me. Tracy has been in hiding, so to speak, for two decades. This is her first solo LP release since going MIA. I have to say, it’s a masterpiece, screaming 80s new wave, smooth folk, and juicy electro-soul.

They were even nice enough to send me an advance copy of their debut album “The Invisible Line” before it was released where I found this amazing track featuring none other than the amazing Imogen Heap.

It’s not too terribly often that a music video really wows me these days. But when I do see one I like, I feel obligated to pass it along to the masses. I wasn’t particularly a huge fan of Pink’s new song “So What!” although I am a pretty big fan of her music. But the video had definitely made me like the song more.
