Listen to This: Lady GaGa

lady gagaI first heard Lady GaGa’s debut single, Just Dance a little over a month ago, and at that time, I declared it “the song of the summer”. Well, as you may have noticed, it is hotter than all get out, and summer is in full swing; and as I accurately predicted, Lady GaGa is still dominating the top of my charts with this phenomenal hit.

Just Dance is one of the most infectious, beat-driven, pump your body songs out right now, and with this track, Lady GaGa has given me a renewed faith in American-created pop. Hailing from NYC, GaGa eats, sleeps, breathes, and epitomizes fashion, glamor, filthy gorgeous, party, passion, and perhaps most importantly, POP. With the simple request that we “just dance”, she creates a party scene that makes me want to get drunk with this Lady and shake my ass all night long.

Lady GaGa’s debut The Fame is set to drop some time this summer, and having heard some of the other tracks from this record, I can say that we have a hot one on our hands folks. Lady GaGa is going to blow up, and I can’t wait for the next big bang… my ears are still ringing from the first explosion that is Just Dance.

    This song is growing on me. I still don’t 100% love it like you do, but it is pretty catchy, in fact when I play it when my friends are around they are always singing along by the end of it which is a good test of whether it’s a great pop song or not!

    Okay so they played this song at the bar last night. I danced my face off. Loves it.

    I also looked up the video the other night after Jdub mentioned it. Also love it, totally a party you want to be at but can’t.

    im addicted to this song, its a song that makes you want to dance.. i watched Miss universe 2008 and the girls modelled to it..
