Apparently not, because Celine Dion is coming to a theatre near you. Billed as a documentary with performances, I’m assuming this film will be similar to Madonna’s I’m Going to Tell You A Secret. That secret, bee tee dubs, ended up being, “This will be the only professional footage of my Reinvention Tour you will ever see.”
In this new ‘film,’ we see Celine, Rene, their girl/boy child Rene-Charles, and a bevvy of other characters prance around the world to the Titanic theme and Because You Loved Me. But why? Read the rest »
What happened to Whitney?

Whitney Houston was supposed to make the career comeback of this millennium. But it stalled. Why? How? I mean, the album – I Look to You, entered the Billboard charts at #1, selling 305K albums in the first week. The title track was selected as the album’s first single which was probably a misstep to lead with a ballad, but I understand the reasoning – to prove that the voice was still there. Plus, the song is nearly perfect in its construction. However, after disastrous live performances during her promo tour, word spread that THE voice, this voice, was gone. Drugs, drinking, a shoddy marriage – it all had taken it’s toll.
Thankfully they released a second single, an Alicia Keys written and produced song entitled Million Dollar Bill, which was exactly what everyone was wanting – a hit. The Freemasons remixed the shit out of the track and Whitney had not only returned to the charts, but also to the dancefloor. Even as of December 2009, she had sold one million records in the US. So where the hell is Whitney?
Worse Than A Bad Penny & Worth Just As Much

It’s a plague that won’t leave us alone. Tila Tequila is back to Twitter, just two days after “quitting”. Bitch knows how to work that fifteen minutes. Just as people were starting to lose interest in her, she gets desperate and deletes her Twitter account on Tuesday. Instant way to get at least two more write ups in the gossip blogs. First for deleting it, and then wouldn’t you know, another for coming back just mere days later. In fact just hours after a rambling blog post about why she left in the first place.
Absolutely none of this surprises me and in fact I was checking various other possible usernames over the last few days trying to decide which one she would come back with. By writing this, I am in fact giving her exactly what she wants, more exposure. But my hatred for the bitch runs deep and I can’t just sit idly by while people worship her stank feet. If you want to find her new username you can dig around, she’s easy… to find.
If as many people on this earth despised me as much as they do her, I don’t think I could go on with myself or my delusions, but she just keeps trucking along. So props for that, the strength to keep your crazy going is unwavering.
In other, more important news: the sky is blue.

What Heidi Montag had to say about her mom seeing her ridiculous amount of plastic surgeries for the first time:
I think she was most upset that Spencer was there for me and she wasn’t. She was saying how sad it is that my confidence is gone because of the music industry I’m trying to get into. I wanted to be the most beautiful, inside and out. It’s part of being a pop star.
Pop star? That’s still happening? Did she sell another 658 copies? Good for her!
