What else can I say? We both watched the video last night and agreed upon the following things:

* It’s visually pretty

* She looks pretty amazing and not in a ‘I’ve had a lot of work done’ way

* There’s a shit-ton of things happening and not one really makes any sense

And the Minogue herself Tweeted the descriptions for her outfits and the interesting fact that all the lighting effects were projected live, not done in post-production.

A new track leaked today that was recorded – we think – during the Aphrodite sessions. The track, Change Your Mind, was written by Scissor Sisters front man Jake Shears and produced by Canadian prog & electro house producer deadmau5.

It’s okay, nothing spectacular. It’s more head-on dance and makes sense as to why it was left off the album (well, and it’s not terribly musically interesting – the verses are melodically boring). What do you think?

Haters to the left. Rihanna’s yet untitled new album is set to hit shelves November 2nd. The 5th album is set to depart from the darker and more moody Rated R which reflected what Rihanna was going through after ‘the incident’. The official statement was sent by the Barclay label (Universal Music) drafted to Musique Evous.

Current rumors have the first single titled Only Girl Cheers and will be a “dance track”.

Stay tuned.

Robbie Williams joins in with his former arch nemesis from Take That for his new single for Shame from his next upcoming greatest hits compilation.

Personally I find the song a bit boring as well as the video. It has some cute parts but overall it’s rather forgettable.

What can I say about this? The bitch is flawless of course, but the hair… oh the hair. Michelle Pfeiffer anyone?

In all seriousness though, I have two major points. The first is that they tramped her way up. For those of us familiar with our Minogue’s they knocked a good 10 years off her already young looking appearance. She could have passed for 25. Which right off left me feeling a little put off but I got over it. Americanize, Americanize, Americanize.

And secondly, did ya’ll catch that video montage in the background? Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, Love At First Sight, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, Love At First Sight, Can’t Get You Out OfMy Head, Confide In Me. Yeah there was some other stuff mixed in there but it was a very obvious FUCKING REMEMBER ME video montage.

Don’t get me wrong Kylie Minogue could be doing a handstand for 7 minutes on PBS and I’d tune in, quite frankly I was just happy to sit quietly for 3.5 minutes and soak it up.

Pixie Lott unveiled her new single Broken Arrow this morning/afternoon and I’ll say that I’m not that impressed. Oddly enough, she’s releasing her first single stateside on the Interscope label with Boys & Girls from her last album. So confused. What do you think of the new track?

Kelly Rowland is prepping her new video for the song Rose Colored Glasses, which is being shot by famed fashion photographer Rankin and will be filmed in 3D. Why? I don’t know. But the video looks colorful and fun. But then there’s a rumor that she’s also shooting videos for the tracks Forever & A Day and Grown Woman, so who the hell knows what’s happening.

The track isn’t bad, but I think I enjoy Forever & A Day more because it’s more dance. And I’m a slut for dance. You knew this.
