Charlotte Church Plans Her Return

Charlotte Church is recording a new album!! For those of you who are unfamilar, Charlotte is an opera singer who had a couple of nice remixes back in the early 2000’s and then made her way into the pop arena in 2005. The public weren’t too receptive of the album and although the singles were spot on Tissues & Issues fell by the pop way side. With the best of 3 singles only reaching #10.
She has now signed a $3 million dollar deal with Power Amp Records that will give her the funding of a big label with the flexibility to create an album that she feels is true to herself. The album is due out this fall.
I personally wasn’t a fan of the album myself, however two of the singles Crazy Chick and Call My Name were my jams. Check out the video for Call My Name after the cut.

Video: Goldfrapp – Rocket

It seems like we’ve been waiting for this video longer than Gaga’s Telephone. But finally, it has arrived in all it’s phallic glory. Goldfrapp’s visual take on their first single from Head First.
At first glance the video might come off as cheesy, and perhaps it is. But instead of low budget cheesy, Goldfrapp has taken the video to new levels with expensive cheese, if you will.
You could call this Allison’s coming out video, after all she is driving a big rig, and those four androgynous looking ladies aren’t helping the situation out any.
I dig the whole thing, I love where this project is going with it’s full on 80’s vibe and heavy sampling. It’s nice sometimes to not take yourself quite so seriously.

Surprise! No Britney album in June

You could knock me over with a feather right now. The fact that Britney isn’t coming out with a new album in June is just SHOCKING! I mean, it’s been forever since we saw her last…like November or so? That 3-some song about numerology or the number of male toilet parts. And the fact that hoe is out of the house looking like this means we ain’t getting an album for a while. As our friend MuuMuse has pointed out time and again, when Britney is brunette it means two things: she’s in the studio and she’s crazy again. Yes, that’s the most unflattering picture ever. More than those vagina shots. Thank you X17online!
Lohan (un)shocking revelations

Are you sitting down? Seriously – sit down. You are going to be blown away by what I have to share with you. Lindsay Lohan, sweet lovable ginger-ish angel from such classics as The Parent Trap, Mean Girls and I Know Who Killed Me, was addicted to booze and drugs.
OMFG – I KNOW! I feel as if my world is crumbling down around me. Is nothing sacred anymore? 4 Realz, u guyz, this is blowing my mind.
Okay – just kidding. I’m honestly amazed Lindsay is actually still alive as I type this. It’s evident to me after her admission as a hoarder that princess has spent through the Mean Girls millions and is hard up for cash. I mean, this ess ain’t a secret, so why you talking about it?
I tried to mask my problems with alcohol, cocaine and mind-altering substances. Now I’m in a place where I don’t need to use anything and I can feel emotions because I choose to.
She goes on to talk about her car wrecks, her daredevil escapades with Ambien and faucets and her pesky father’s drug habits and media blabbing.
