Saturday Song: Temposhark - Not That Big

August 23rd, 2008 | Posted by Shan

I had the pleasure of catching the band Temposhark opening for Darren Hayes last year and have been a fan ever since. They were even nice enough to send me an advance copy of their debut album “The Invisible Line” before it was released where I found this amazing track featuring none other than the amazing Imogen Heap.

Break me down

August 9th, 2008 | Posted by Ryan

I’m currently on vacation, back home visiting the family and tomorrow attending a friend’s wedding.  I never expected to go away and out of boredom, discover something so amazing that it caused me to break down in tears within a minute of hearing the song.

The track is by Imogen Heap and is entitled, “Hide & Seek 2″.  Now for fans of Imogen, you may remember “Hide & Seek” which was used in several TV Shows and Movies.  The track was found on her last album and was brilliant.  This new… Read more »

Did you know that Alanis Morissette has a new album out? Well she does! And it is by far amazing! Without a doubt the best thing she’s done since “Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie”. I find it amazing that some music stars have just a few hits and fade from existence and then there are people like Alanis who are truly only relevant to the masses for the hits that she had nearly 10 years ago - yet she still has a strong fanbase today.

The album has 11 tracks and if… Read more »

Every great story…

June 25th, 2008 | Posted by Ryan

There are a few albums due out sometime this year that have me excited.

First, the only album on my list to have a confirmed release date and track listing is Infernal’s latest album, “Electric Cabaret” due out on August 11.  This album follows their incredibly brilliant “From Paris To Berlin” CD.  The first single from their new album is ‘Downtown Boys’ and takes a lot to get into, it’s definitely different from their previous recordings, but perhaps in a good way.  The album is set to have 14 tracks with… Read more »
