There wasn’t a shortage of amazing music in 2008. So many greats returned, and more often than not, to stellar results. What follows is the rundown of my favorite albums of the year. Some I’ve spoken about on Jiingo throughout the year, and others may come as a bit of a surprise. There are a few albums due out sometime this year that have me excited.
First, the only album on my list to have a confirmed release date and track listing is Infernal’s latest album, “Electric Cabaret” due out on August 11. This album follows their incredibly brilliant “From Paris To Berlin” CD. The first single from their new album is ‘Downtown Boys’ and takes a lot to get into, it’s definitely different from their previous recordings, but perhaps in a good way.
