Yeah that was totally a play on Kanye West’s new album “808’s and Heartbreaks” which sadly did not make this years list. I had somewhat of a hard time making this list, as I went through my iTunes and started compiling the “entire list” which I whittled down to the list below I realized that there weren’t too terribly many great albums this year, The first 6 albums or so were a breeze and I easily ranked, but when it came down to the last few they were all pretty mediocre to me. B-sides are one of my favorite things about music. I’m afraid they might be a dying art along with physical singles however. There’s something special about a b-side - everyone has an artists album but a true fan takes the time to hunt down and collect the b-sides. It’s not too terribly often that a music video really wows me these days. But when I do see one I like, I feel obligated to pass it along to the masses. I wasn’t particularly a huge fan of Pink’s new song “So What!” although I am a pretty big fan of her music. But the video had definitely made me like the song more.
