Really? No, really? I guess so. Folks - Paula Abdul has recorded the discarded Kylie Minogue track from her Body Language sessions, Boombox. While the entire thing hasn’t been released, you can check out a clip of it over at Ms. Abdul’s website, which is counting down the days for a new website reveal, which is leading to some album promo probably.
Her vocals are…well, vapid. Empty. Soulless. Dull. But what would you expect from American Idol’s reigning “I’m not on drugs, I just slur my speech because I’m exhausted” judge? Exactly -… Read more »

Usually I’m excited about any new Alanis stuff. Ask any of my friends, I’m crazy about my CD collection. I don’t believe in digital downloads in terms of owning an album. I like the physical existence and adding it to my shelves of music. I love when people come over and browse my collection and ask me questions and opinions about the music I own. Then there are the albums that I’m embarrassed about. There are all sorts of reasons why I would be embarrassed about owning an album, but these are the 5 that peak the list. Read more »

I have to start by saying that I’m a huge Anastacia fan, and if it wasn’t for my ex Chris I might not have ever even gave her a chance nearly 6 years ago. On a short road trip however he played “Why’d You Lie To Me” from her first album and I instantly fell in love. Her first album wasn’t great but it had enough good songs on it to get me hooked. Then her second album came out and you could obviously tell it was rushed but at… Read more »
